Need to include a welcome message, a quick explanation before a video, or just some extra info? You can easily add written content to your training using the Text option. Here’s how!
Step 1: Head to Training Content
First, make sure you’re in the Content Manager, and that you’ve already:
- Created a new training
- Set your Training Settings
- Selected your Training Audience
- Added at least one chapter
Step 2: Add a New Episode
In the Training Content section, click “Add Episode +”
Give your episode a name and click “Create.”
Step 3: Choose Episode Type
Select “Content” as the type of episode you’re creating.
Step 4: Choose “Text” as Your Content Type
Now choose “Text” as the type of content you want to include in this episode.
Step 5: Enter Your Text
You’ll now see a text editor that works a bit like Microsoft Word.
Here’s what you can do:
- Type in your content (like an intro, instructions, or explanation)
- Use simple formatting tools: bold, italic, highlight, bullet points, alignment, and more
Heads up: You can’t upload or paste images directly into a text block. If you want to include an image, you’ll need to add a separate Image block before or after this one.
Step 6: Add a Title and Duration
On the right-hand side of the page:
- Give your text block a title
- Enter a rough duration (in minutes or fractions—like 1 for one minute or 0.5 for 30 seconds). This helps the system track how long the learner should spend on the content.
Then click “Save” and you’re done!
That’s it!
You’ve successfully added written content to your training. Whether it’s a welcome note, instructions, or additional context, your learners will appreciate the extra guidance.
