Videos are a great way to bring your training to life—and keep your audience fully engaged. Even better? On Trainhub, learners can’t skip ahead in videos. That means if they’ve earned a certificate, you can trust they watched the full training.
Here’s how to easily add videos to your training episodes:
Step 1: Go to Training Content
Make sure you’re in the Content Manager and you’ve already:
- Created a training draft
- Set your Training Settings
- Selected your Training Audience
- Added at least one chapter
Need help with any of those steps? Check out:

Step 2: Add a New Episode
In the Training Content section, click “Add Episode +”
Give your episode a name, then click “Create.”
Step 3: Select Episode Type
Choose “Content” from the episode type menu.
Step 4: Choose Video as Your Content Type
You’ll see a list of content options. Click “Video.”
You now have two options: upload from your computer, or add a video link.
Option 1: Upload a Video from Your Computer
- Make sure you’re in the “Upload” tab.
- Click “Upload Video” and select the video file from your device.
- Wait for the upload to complete. The video duration will fill in automatically.
- Add a title for your video.
- Click “Save.”
Note: You might briefly see an error message (“Sorry, this video does not exist”) while the system processes your upload. Don’t worry—it just needs a few minutes to finish. Come back shortly to confirm it’s working.
Option 2: Add a Video Using a Web Link
- Switch to the “Link” tab.
- Add a title for your video.
- Enter the duration manually (e.g., 10.5 for 10 minutes and 30 seconds).
- Paste your video link into the URL field.
- Click “Save.”
Step 5: Save Your Episode
Once your video is uploaded or linked:
- Click the arrow in the top-left corner to return to the Training Content page.
- Click “Save Draft” to save your progress.
That’s it!
You’ve successfully added a video to your training episode. Videos make your content more engaging and ensure your learners get the full experience, start to finish.
